REVIEWS:
BYOB Not! I heard many good things about the New Naimat Kada on a particular website which I will not mention, it starts with a “C” and ends with a “D”, it is a nine letter word that sounds like cowbound. One of the reviews on this site said New Naimat Kada was BYOB (bring your own Beer/Booze), awesome I love byobs they make me happy. Great I’ll check it out! Once I get there, I go to the deli around Curry Hill and bring back a 40 with me and order some food. I order vegetable samosa for 1 dollar and Shami Kabab for 1.5 dollars, Kenneth went a little fancy and ordered the Non Vegetable Platter 7.5 dollars, a plate consisting of 2 meats selection, rice, freshly baked naan and salad. The food is very good for the price, but mostly impressed by the vegetable samosa it had a flaky crisp shell with fluffy mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots, spiced with curry. I cleansed my palate getting ready for the next food to review… when the owner came up to us. He subtly asked us to hide the beers since most of his customers were Muslim. I was so embarrassed I felt like such an ignorant bastard child raised by Benifer. I really felt bad but the owner seem petty cool and didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.
RANTS & RAVES:
We finished our meal in peace watching some random Indian/Pakistani television, as we were leaving we apologized for bring the beers and he said it was cool. So what did we learn today? A. The World Wide Web is not always right 2. Just because they do not sell beer do not assume BYOB is welcome!
