REVIEWS:
Cheap cheese! East Village Cheese is a cheapskate paradise, I don’t even know where to begin, yes they have cheese that are from all over the world, not only that but breads, olives, crackers, and coffee. A side of the great deals, the major thing I noticed about EVC is their clientele; you can tell they are all cheapster. You know the old granny with the wheeled cart and the middle-aged dude rummaging the clearance section – you know what I’m talking about. They make it their whole daily routine just to find “D” deal.
RANTS & RAVES:
I love it. I felt at home with my people, finally I am accepted! I could have gone hog wild bought tons of crap that I not might eat, instead wanted to be as cheap as possible. EVC has a specialty cheese bar where you can buy cheese by the lbs or buy the cheese that are in fridge hidden behind the door as you enter, that is where I found brie for $1. They also had other random stuff non-cheese related like humus for 2-3 bucks. Once you pass all the cheese, walk toward the end and you see some carb-friendly eats, breads, crackers, and H&H bagels for half the price you’ll find at the H&H shop. I found crackers to go with a brie also for $1, my total came to 2 whole dollars no tax. Fucking amazing you got to go and find out for your self, if you’re a cheese nut like me, you can spend a whole afternoon in the store. Tip: Cash Only Tip: Taste all the cheese you want, before ordering : ^ 9
