Stumbled upon this place while looking for something fast, Murray’s Bagel is located 242 8th Ave (b/t 22nd and 23rd st) in the Chelsea district. I was pretty hungry and wanted more then a bagel so I decided to get a smoked turkey sandwich. It came nicely dressed with tomato, lettuce, mayo and mustard on a HUGE plain bagel, it was great it was so filling that I couldn’t eat it all.

The price was not cheapass my bagelwich came to $6.95 plus tax, but like I said it was very filling and the quality was very good, they make their own bagel and use Applegate Farms smoked turkey. However I found a loophole at Murray’s if you do decide to go you can order 1/4 lbs of turkey for $3.75 and a bagel is $1 that comes to $4.75 plus tax, that is a $2.20 difference. That means it cost me $2.20 to have my bagel cut and have some one put one and two together for me. Am I crazy? Cheapass? or does this sound ridiculous?
