REVIEWS:
I have mixed feelings about Nooch, it’s a weird little trendy place that servers Japanese and Thai food not fusion or Western. Just 2 different types of Asian cuisine, which is fine but the food it self was all right and the price was not as pricy as one would expect at a gaysians lounge designed by Karim Rashid. We ordered a whole bunch of stuff that ranged from fried calamari to wonton wraps and I have to say the apps where pretty good but once my entrée came it was a big downer- a seafood Thai salad tasted like whole bunch of seafood mixed with siracha sauce and catsup- neither Thai or Japanese. I didn’t know WTF it was just weirdness, the kind of stuff you mix together when your home and have nothing better to eat.
RANTS & RAVES:
Not really for a foodie, but their cocktail list is definitely worth sampling, I had the saketini that was mixed with cucumber and sake which was really great. The taste was light crisp and slightly sweet a perfect drink for those soggy summers days.
