REVIEWS:
Why the craze over cupcakes? They are miniature and they are cakes but really are they all that special? Its seem everyone and their mom are only eating mini cakes or going on some crazyass cupcake diet, ok the last statement is a stretch but seriously- what up? Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery is cozy as it gets with couches, and pictures of dogs all over with a living room feel but cant you get that in most café, or is it the smell of freshly baked cakes that hypnotize the consumers by heaps. I wanted to find out so for this morning sugar buzz I headed down to Sugar Sweet Sunshine. I think I got the "BoB" which is a chocolate frosting on top of a light fluffy vanilla cake. At first bite the chocolate is the major component of flavor but as you eat more and more you can taste a slight hint of amaretto and the cake it self is so fluffy and light that most of the flavor comes form the frosting. The frosting is not overly sweet but enough to give me a sugar high… come to think of it I am still jumpy that this review has taken me an hour to write.
RANTS & RAVES:
Over all good cupcakes, each one costs $1.25 and coffee is $1.25 for a small, not bad, I heard Magnolia charge $2.50. Do the math you can get 2 for the price of one at SSS.
