Perfect on the weekends for reading the Sunday Times or working on your writing for you’re next screenplay, 88 Orchard a treasure of a place. The décor is modern yet comfortable one can really immerse into their work while grabbing some joe. I like to chill outside with the dog, but have the option of sitting indoors, especially nice on a warm day with a cool breeze. I ordered a cup of joe with a croissant sandwich w/ veggie. The coffee is strong with nice French dark roast flavors, and the croissant was buttery flakey, sandwiched b/t was ripe avocado, tomatoes, and Swiss cheese. So good, everything was nicely toasted which made the cheese melt. Their menu is simple and is standard to other cafes, and they have free wifi for those bloggers out there or if you’re just surfing the web.
RANTS & RAVES:
I think my order came to $5.05 pretty cheap for a sandwich and coffee, albeit was on the smaller side, its perfect for snack or light lunch. The staff is nice and friendly, gave our dog Wiki some water.
