REVIEWS:
I've had it with Starbucks, and I imagine that most Cheapasses probably have too. How did we find ourselves in a world where coffee options are either a cup of burnt-tasting, over-roasted, drip coffee crap for almost 2 bucks, or a 500 calorie "coffee" milkshake for $5? Boo! Suck. I'm sure that the folks behind the MUD Truck were well aware that people were dissillusioned with this state of affairs, because they chose a spot directly in between two starbucks to park. Not only are these two starbucks near to each other, but you can SEE THEM BOTH from the point where the MUD truck stands. Ballsy move, yet its working - I rarely see the MUD Truck without a line of happy customers. I am in that line.
RANTS & RAVES:
Get this: "small" coffee is $1. "big" coffee is $2. It is a revelation. This must have been what it felt like when those German people invented Helvetica in like 1957. Like, "oh, hello. right, of course. Lets do THAT." I like the "Mud mocha," which is their great house coffee with chocolate syrup. And milk, if you like (they even put it in for you!) The people who work in the truck are also nice!
