REVIEWS:
I love this market, what am I saying is how can anybody not love this place, I would say this is the equivalent of Chinatown but with Latin twist alongside specialties shops for example cheese and meats. I went after work on Monday night for some lime and pork and it was crazy cheap, 6 fresh limes for 1 buck, a huge bushel of cilantro for 1 buck and a slab of fatty beacon for $3.56 a lbs –crazy good deals. But I also like this place for the their specialties stores, if your in hurry there is a cool little smoothie stand and the dudes make the shakes just like in Cali, also a sandwich shop for those on a lunch break and even a alternation shop right in inside the open markets. Definitely one can kill two birds with one stone at the Essex St Market.
