REVIEWS:
I was working oneday in Chinatown with one of my coworkers and he had asked me if I ever eat a cannoli at Rocco’s pastry located on Bleecker, sadly to say I have yet to try I told him. He said it was a must so I need to make a trek to Rocco’s sometime in the near future, but in the mean time the thought of little tube filled with sweet and creamy mascarpone was lingering in my head. Not wanting to walk 2 miles to all the way up to the West side I did the next best thing and walked a few blocks to Little Italy for some sweet desserts after dinner. I got a variety of miniature sweets all range from $1.75-2.50 not so cheapAss but still it’s an Italian specialty so I can forgo the price, and they have so many to choose from it is sort of hard to think about the prices when all you can see, smell and taste is cannolios. I highly recommend the chocolate covered cannolios the crisp shell is dipped in dark chocolate and fill with the mascarpone filling, the mini éclair was ok the puff pastry was on the bland side however the cream was yummy, oh and don’t forget the cream puff is also good but I bet it taste better when it comes right out of the oven then filled.
