who ever said there is no good food in the MTA, those people haven’t been to the churros guy at the L stop. I saw the churros dude couples times before but I thought to myself “ his selling food in the subway" … thought about it and passed on the idea. However a few days later on my way to Brooklyn to see my gimpy friend in Bushwick, I decide to grab a few for her. Now I wasn’t using my friend as a guinea pig at all (wink wink) it was a gift of love. I asked the nice man for a dollar worth and he put 3 tall sticks into a brown bag, I was please to get 3 for one buck.
RANTS & RAVES:
When I arrived to her place I handed her gift and to my surprise, gimpy has never had a chruros before. She kind of looked at me the way people look at a crazy person, but I insisted she take a bite. Don’t think my dear friend liked it very much, however she didn’t die and so I took a bite. I loved it! the churro was crisp, sweet, and greasy – 3 most important component of a good churro. If your ever at the L stop on your way Brooklyn (union square stop) go to the Churros dude it’s a must for $1 snack. Kick ASS!
