REVIEWS:
So the word around the street is, Woorijip (meaning our house) got a facelift, I had to go check it out my self to make sure that one our favorite CheapAss Korean eatery is still cheap. I have been frequenting this cafeteria/bodega for the past 2 years founding myself getting snack and soju while never giving the hot and cold buffet a chance, so this time around I did just that. The cost of the buffet is $6.50 per lb, and I came just under $7 +tax, some of the items sampled were a little bit of kim chee, pork and kim chee stew, pork samm (boiled pork) with fermented bean paste, Ddeokbokki (rice cake in hot sauce), and squid and vegetables in hot sauce. All very good, enough to match up with restaurant around the area. Besides the buffet, they updated the kimbap (for $4.00-$4.50) with array form vegetarian, meat lovers, and the classic. In the cold section is where I found the kimbap and the bibimbap (meaning mixed rice) for $6 that comes with rice and soup, which is quite a steal- most eateries in K-town prices range from $8-12.
