REVIEWS:
Backroom comfort with 4 star quality, is how I would describe Blind Dog ToGo, located 1846 Prospector Ave, Park City UT. In a hurry to see the First Screening of the Sundance film festival, we scrabbled into Blind dog which was also conveniently located near the headquarter. Blind Dog serve relatively complex dishes, yet keep things healthy overall, here are some of the items that we got to sample. Fried pickle burger made with 1/2 lbs of Kobe beef and fried pickles ($12), Fish Tacos with salsa fresca, tomatilla sauce, jalapeño cabbage slaw and black bean salad ($8), and black olive Caesar ($5 sm/$10 lg). Thought the fried pickles were going to overpower the burger but it was a nice hint of sourness, liked it very much also the tacos tasted great only wished the salsa was spicy, really could have used some kick. Caesar came freshly made with real Parmesan, focaccia croutons and white anchovies. Blind Dog doesn’t skimp and the prices are more then reasonable, this cheapass would highly recommend it.
RANTS & RAVES:
If you have time and a bigger budget then a cheapass, I would recommend going to the Blind Dog Grill, with bigger menu a wider variety of wines and beers. Located on 1781 Sidewinder Dr Blind Dog named for the owner's dog who suffered a loss of sight after being struck by a car. The restaurant is a dog lovers paradise, with photos, cartoons and other renderings of mutts adorning the walls.
