REVIEWS:
By the looks of this quite street one would never think to find a jem of a place, La Bergamote a tiny Parisian café that would fulfill anyone’s sweet tooth as well as one’s belly. While on a hunt for some lunch bites I found myself drooling over the pastries, tartlets with glazed verities of berries, éclairs, flaky croissants, and pillowy looking Madeleine. Amazingly enough I fought off the temptation of dessert and headed straight for the simple and very Parisian looking Baguette sandwiches. The Country pâte ($6.50) is an unfussy pork pâte with pickles and yellow mustard, the pâte is so creamy and flavorful there was no need for fanciful dress up.
RANTS & RAVES:
Next time I am skipping lunch and eating all sweets and dreamy looking clouds.
