EATERY:
Pizza Truck (Downtown)
LOCATION:
Wall and Front street, New York, NY 10005
REVIEWS:
Wondering around Wall Street can be overwhelming to say the least, with all the suites and tour buses whizzing by it’s hard to pinpoint the good the bad and the ugly- eats that is. While there seems to be bodegas every half block to fill the daily needs of the downtown workers and random Euro-touros what is a foodie to do? Not to put down Downtown, I admit there are some great eats here for example Pakistan Tea House, Country Kebab and of course our favorite Veronica’s Kitchen, but sometimes you just need something fast(er), with a smaller budget. Pizza Truck located on the corner of Wall and Front Street is the perfect solution for those on the run, with a very small wallet. For $2.75 one can order a Sicilian/Grandma’s pizza that is perfectly charred underneath (making each bite crisp), covered in a healthy layer of tangy, garlicky tomato sauce, topping the sauce with a dusting of fresh parmesean cheese and a basil leaf for the added aromatic finish. I never knew eating out of a truck could taste so good, efficient, and cheap; just like our boys at Wall Street.
