REVIEWS:
On display were freshly made shrimp / ojinguh / sweet potato tempura, which made us stop in our track, but the smell is what lured us into Chung Moo rollrice & Dongas. Like many Korean snack shop that one would find in Seoul, Chung Moo Rollrice and Dongas is no different, when we stepped in, it was packed, so we decided to grab couple of items togo, since we have been munching all day in Flushing. I was in the mood for some kimbap (Korean sushi), and some soondae, which is Korean’s version of blood sausage. Most commonly made of potato noodle, barley/rice, pig’s blood, and green onion, it’s not like other blood sausages. The sweet old lady that makes soondae is superb at it, a mild taste of liver mixed in with barley and noodles, definitely a must eat for all you adventures eaters out there. The Kimbap was simple made with perfectly seasoned rice, a hint of tart with a little sweet – sort of like the little old lady running the joint.
RANTS & RAVES:
my total was $10.50 one order of soondae, kimbap and a coke, a must new cheap eats!
